"This piece I’ve chosen for the exhibition is focussed on lights, sound, movement that you experience at a fun fair. I choose to associate type with thoughts, feelings and emotions at fairs and spell them out on wood with nails, then light them up by wrapping neon glow sticks around them. When entering a room/shed full of neon, loud music and the smell of candyfloss, I wanted the viewer to gain a sense of visual excitement and motion that you would expect at a fun fair, I love the fact that walking into a room full of neon lettering in a closed area can be quite intimidating."
