Bethany Webb talks abit about the piece she will exhibit in the show:

"The pieces of work I am putting forth in the exhibition focuses mainly on areas around film and music. Although I am putting forward these particular paintings I have realised that it isn't neccessary that my work has a particular theme running through, but infact trying to make an excuse just to use paint. My first piece is a 5 painting piece originally from an installation I did focusing on film stills from films I have enjoyed watching as well as showing an ecclectic genre of films. The paintings are to be shown one still above the other to give the notion of a film reel, but set out in a simplistic manner. My second piece of my work is a painting from my 'people and spaces' project which shows two guitarists from a band. I have decided to put this forward to display as I am pleased with the outcome of the figures, and features of the guitarists and therefore is has to be one of my favourite paintings I have made."
